Hi all,
Trying to locate a solid core to replate. My original was unfortunately damaged during repair by North Star Plating and they are trying to make good. Core ideally is not already a replate so it is thick enough for grinding/plating. Skylark/GS only.
Thanks,
Elvin

Still looking. Thanks.

Where are you located?

I'm in the SF Bay Area in CA.

Thought I'd bump this once more just in case.

You know you can ship those reasonable with Fedex ground for about a hundred bucks from Michigan to CA. I got into a mess with an unmentionable company and paid several times back and forth to CA. I think it may have caused a certain beverage company to post larger profits that year.

Dear Elvin and mid-60s Buick parts hounds,
I would expect that you had already found this ad, but just in case. There is one listed on eBay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-Buick-Skylark-Front-Bumper/224210364083 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-Buick-Skylark-Front-Bumper/224210364083)
I don't know anything about the seller and they seem to be asking a king's ransom for this bumper, but I thought I would pass it on anyway. It is definitely getting scary how rare parts like this have become.
Hoping that you finally end up with the bumper you deserve!
Cheers, Edouard :occasion14:

If you are still looking for a front bumper, I have one. I am in Michigan.
Thank you, Les

This guy has piles of them. He ships, no problem.

I got one! I should say, North Star Plating found one in their core yard. It was labeled as a 66. Rechromed and on the car, looks so good. Thanks to all for suggestions.

So glad that this story finally has a happy ending! :angel4: That was more of a struggle that most of us could easily swallow. :BangHead:
Enjoy that bumper as you get the rest of the car put back together!! :hello2:

Hi Les, As of tonight, I'm also looking for a front bumper, preferable a straight driver quality bumper. What condition is ours? Could I get some photos?...if you still have it?
Thanks!

John, sorry this took so long. This one is driver quality. I do have pictures but it needs to be cleaned up and it has a small crack on the top of the V. that can be repaired easily. Let me know what you want to do.
Thank you, Les
