Post by: elagache on May 22, 2020, 01:16:21 PM
Dear mid-60s Buick caregivers,

Classic Car Wiring . com (https://www.classiccarwiring.com/) is a small outfit that makes very handy wiring diagrams for all kinds of classic cars in full and correct color.  Here is a sample from their website;

(https://cdn11.bigcommerce.com/s-hniml7/product_images/uploaded_images/sample5.jpg)

According to them, there is only one sale a year and this is it.  To quote:

Memorial Day is almost here, and we are excited to announce a sale that only comes around once a year in honor of all those who have served and continue to serve our country!

Use offer code 2525 to redeem 25% off your next order now through 05/26/2020.

So if you've wanted one of these diagrams to help you with your electrical projects, here is your chance to save some money and help one of those small businesses that are an important part of the classic car hobby.

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

  Yes I do agree, I've had mine for years, I mounted it on a piece of plywood and keep it next to my desk for easy reference. It's the Special/Skylark chart. I don't know if they ever made a 65 Skylark GS version ?

How big are these? Was thinking the same thing, that this might be cool in a nice frame on the wall of a Man Cave.

Two sizes are available 11x17 or 18x24. Prices before discount are $17.95 and $29.95.

Has anyone compared the printout to an actual 65 Skylark GS wiring setup?  Is it accurate?

It appears to be missing some options, like power windows, power seat, AC, but the clarity of the sample makes it difficult to read (at least for me).

Dear Jim, Tony, Kevin, Keith, Dan, 65GSConv and mid-60s Buick caregivers,

When I bought one a few years back I did a "college try" to compare it to the service manual.  I didn't find any errors, but of course I have only have a Special, so I wasn't looking for the wiring for those options.
