Hi Everyone, I have several W/W Motors that I removed from parts cars over 20 years ago Just sitting on the shelf. Since I was cleaning off the shelves to give me more space . I decided to clean ,test, and paint both of them then box them up. I went over to the Auto Parts store to get 6 new bushings. And to my surprise there were none on the Dorman rack, so I asked my friend behind the counter. He looked it up on the computer and said "we don't have them at any of our stores, and the warehouse shows 0" . So I went home empty handed, At home I pulled up every auto store within 20 miles of my home on my computer. Then called each one and found only two sets at $3.99ea I visited both stores and purchased the two.
This Dorman Number is now obsolete, so If you are planning to refurbish your W/W motor, see if your parts supplier still has the Dorman # 49450 If not Summit has them for $5.99 and OPGI has reproductions for $17.99

Thanks Tony!
I've bought the bushings and the hardware from resto suppliers as well.
This has been a screwy year with all the swap meet and show cancellations! Spring just doesn't seem normal without a trip to Carlisle!

Hey Walt, Yes things seem out of place and very strange. Two days ago my BCA chapter had a ZOOM meeting taking place of our monthly meeting. The whole meeting was going over everything that was NOT happening on Long Island and regionally. We went over the idea of just meeting up at a designated location and cruise on the highways then we thought if we needed a bathroom where would we stop ! So that idea was put aside until the stores & restaurants open up.
I don't go to Carlisle, But I do go to the big Macungie PA show every year. But I'm quite sure it is cancelled too, I will go on the website and see. So I will have plenty of time to get my red GS into the paint shop and start getting it back together..
Lets all make the best of a bad situation  Tony
