Hey, has anybody bought or seen a diecast from this person? These things look really nice, incredible detail for the size (1/43 scale). I sent him an email asking what future projects he had, and whether he was considering a 65 Skylark GranSport, and he said yes, but that it was quite a ways down in the queue. Maybe if a bunch of us express interest, he may consider moving it up in queue?

Dear Keith and mid-60s Buick caregivers who like miniatures,

Thanks for sharing. I wasn't aware of this fellow and his cars. They are very beautiful and indeed exquisitely details!

(http://www.canebas.org/WeatherCat/Forum_support_documents/Custom_emoticons/big_grin_triangle.gif) . . . . . Hmm, if that's going to be difficult, I suppose asking him to make a 1965 Buick Special wagon in Seafoam green pulling a 1965 24 foot long Airstream Tradewind would be an even harder sell! . . . . . . Fellow Buick nuts.....just got a message from Goldvarg announcing they are taking pre-orders for a 64 Buick Wildcat model. They have two colors, Coral Mist and Diplomat Blue. Looking at the pictures, the model looks beautiful. Again, a bit pricey for a 1/43 scale model, but sure is pretty!!

Hi everyone, I have Two good friends that are Big diecast collectors and I have seen some of the Goldvarg cars up close. They are really detailed and the paint looks as real as it gets. They are worth the price if you have the room to display them. Yes it would be great to have a 65 Skylark GS on the shelf above my desk.... :idea1:
Tony

Go to the website and send Mr. Goldvarg a message with your request. Maybe if he gets a lot of requests for a 65 GranSport, he will move it up on his "to-do" list. I know I'd buy one if it was available (hopefully as a convertible!!).

Yes Keith, I will send him a message tonight. In my message I will ask for production of a 65 Convertible GS. Other Registry members should also send in a request.
Tony
