Title: Crack noticed on BOP 8.2 original rear differential (casting flaw or problem)

Hello,
I noticed this today. This is the original 1965 BOP 8.2 10 bolt rear.
This is on the casting of the body on the differential housing, not on the ear of the upper control arm bushing.
No fluid leaking. Does this core need to be replaced?
