Title: clutch pivot frame bushing
Post by: invicta65 on March 28, 2020, 10:22:08 PM
Do they still make the bushings for the clutch frame mount pivot? Does the end of the pivot bar have a rubber bushing? it looks like someone welded a steel bushing in

I don't know about the nylon bushing.  I believe gssizzler had a batch made some years ago.  You might reach out to him to see if he has any left.

The other one is a rubber bushing available here:  https://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/part/1965/skylark-gs-regal-gn/&pno=mt3670Z (https://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/part/1965/skylark-gs-regal-gn/&pno=mt3670Z)

I had to grind the end of the spacer a touch to make it fit, but fit it does.

^^^ The rubber bushing is GM part # 3872955. Originally for a 65-82 Corvette rear stabilizer link. Will need to be ground down a bit for our use.
As low as $6 from other sources, before shipping.

Thanks for the info. I’ll probably have some made. Might have them made from delrin. Did you install a zero fitting in the frame?

Does anyone have the length of z bar adjuster rod? Both parts. Looks like mine has been modified at some time.
