Wow, that's pricey. Nice looking car.
-
Flint car with no S on the trim tag or is it a Freemont car - Hmmmmm!
-
Like how he casually mentions that his father had Ferraris that he raced.
Probably a very nice car. Looks straight, chrome looks good, etc. but not a $45,000 GS IMO.
Dan
Thanks for the link Tom

Ad says Fremont Car. Bill

It looks good but what a price.
-
Good looking car. I wish him luck at that price.

Dear sjfd04, Keith, Good Dr., Dan, Bill, Jim, Glenn, and mid-60s judges of mechanical horsepower flesh,
Indeed an interesting car at an inflated price considering all the tribulations we are going through these days. Does anybody recognize what the aftermarket device under the dash just to the left of the steering wheel? It looks a bit like an aftermarket emergency flasher, but Biquette's aftermarket flasher wasn't nearly as big as that.
Just curious, . . . . . .
Cheers, Edouard :occasion14:

Hi,
Looks like a Fremont college tag, that flasher looks like the one sold as a accessory in 66 from GM, my 4 door has a aftermarket one which also looks a bit smaller.
Regards,
-
Hi Everyone, Yes that is an aftermarket flasher under the dash, I have the same one in my 65 Special.
Tony

Paint code TT, Champagne Mist. The tire rim combination 205/50/17 (I think) is sharp and fill out the wheel wheels nicely. Anyone know the rim source?. Black is very impressive color for the 64/65 body style. It is a bit pricey, in that price range I'd expect to see some pictures of the underside.
That said, it is a very nice GS

Yes , mine . I built the wheels from wheel vintques out of Fresno but stopped making them . It's a Fremont car had around 66 k original miles
was super clean when I had it been sitting in back of a body shop for years from what I heard has done zero put it but he melted wires under hood
I was going to buy it back at one time when to look wouldn't give me a price . I sold for 27500 back in the day but was fully detailed , fresh wheels , tires , tune up etc .
Had every option other than power seat if I remember right . I only;y sold because I hated keeping it clean in country but wish I had got painted it and kept .
Sad to see , tags are from 2014 even .

Skylard Grand Sport ..... doesn't look like the current owner really knows what he/she has ..... unless the seller is selling it on consignment for the owner. But still - hard to find on the internet when looking up with this add title.
Just also noticed this car is listed on Hemmings - got the Skylark spelled properly on this - just have to work on the "Grand". Also, a few more pics on this one. Looks like something was going on in the trunk area. Might not have been in quite as dry of storage as the listing says?

Dear sjfd04 and judges of mid-60s Buick "horse-flesh,"

Thanks for sharing. The car looks in great shape for 55 years old. Since they are planning a significant engine "refresh," I assume the odometer has rolled over once. Even so, 133,000 miles is very low. The ad also says they will be installing a modern aftermarket A/C. Odd that the car would be for sale if this sort of work is still in the wings.
Here is the company website:

They are supposed to post progress photos there. We'll see!

This Seafoam Green GS sure would be a nice stablemate for Biquette Ed!
82k miles on the odo. Looks to be in great condition. I can understand giving the engine a new timing chain and cleaning the oil pan. They are planning on a new cam(hope it's a good one) and hope they don't ruin the heads by trying to install hardened valve seats!

Thanks Walt! I did look for these pictures on their website, but I looked in the wrong place. I'm really curious how they are going to install the aftermarket air conditioning. In Nevada they really need it!
This Seafoam Green GS sure would be a nice stablemate for Biquette Ed!
Well, . . . . . . that is true and tempting . . . Alas, Biquette already has company in our garage and the problem of expanding our garage space isn't easy. I'm still searching for a clever way to provide a shelter for my coveted Airstream trailer! . . . . :icon_scratch:
