I couldn't get the drums off the front so I need to do something. I can't handle a disc set up right now so the drums wiil do. Problem is I don't have them!!!

So i'm probably going to order the spindles with rotors new from a guy on evilbay. Nice set for 339.00.
Includes all the hardware on each side. All the way to pads.
I'll worry about the GM stamped booster with proportion valve and stainless line kit in the spring. The Right Stuff guy will be there and I can get all I just stated for 340.00.
Alltogether when i'm done, only 680.00 for the whole brake system.
Here's the tent I put up for the car. 12 by 26, big!

So I got an awsome deal on all the brakes soup to nuts, plus a bunch of front end parts for 782.00.

Joe,
You'll need to let us know the vendor of the kit and your satisfaction with them after you've installed everything. I'll be in the same boat hear soon next Spring since I'm thinking of converting over the fronts on one of my convertibles.
I've never rebuilt the front end of a suspension, so you'll need to tell us about that experience also and how involved it is or isn't.
Keep the posts coming buddy! ;D

No problem Chris. I will keep you all posted. The last system I installed on my 65 Lark went in smooth as glass. That one was from "The Right Stuff". I only bought it from him because he was at the swap meet in englishtown and he also gave me a great deal. But I allready had the disc spindles, so I only had to buy: GM stamped Booster, Stainless rear lines and front braides stainless lines, proportion valve.
This kit I just bought was from 0to60 brake systems. I found him on evilbay and he had a number posted so I called and got a great deal from a nice guy and he also was able to provide some front end parts I needed.
