Anyone having a problem with the V8 Buick site. Every time I try and use the site it screws up my computer causing an error message.

While I was on the site I navigated around for several minutes without problem. Sorry for your issue but can’t duplicate your problem.

The problem must be on my end.

Its getting to be like all the other forums that are too big; too many chiefs and not enough indians. Way too many moderators that like to usurp their power. Heck, I got banned for standing my ground about censorship and havent looked back.

But yes, to answer your question. The site needs some digital clean up since they went with the new server a few years back. No one can run service updates over there, but can sure critique your personal opines. Heck, 95% cant even post a picture LOL...   Bill

(Rant over!)
Title: Computer? Windows version? Browser? (Re: computer issues V8 Buick)

Dear Glenn, Dan, Bill, and mid-60s Buick owners who can't live or live without information technology,

Dan, what happens is when I am on the site today I was in the parts for sale section and my computer goes blue screen telling me I have a problem and the computer shuts down.

I'm guessing this is a window computer and you are experiencing the "blue screen of death" syndrome.  What computer model is it and how old?  Which version of Windows?  Are you using Explorer or some other brand of browser?  I have two browsers on my computer Firefox and Safari.  Sometimes a website that doesn't work on one will work on the other.

I hope that's a little help.

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

Edouard,
an HP, window 10, using Explorer. Yes the dreaded "blue screen of death" Every time it has happened I have been on V8Buick in the parts for sale section. I guess I need to shop some where else.

Try downloading Firefox. It’s free.

Im running windows 10 with google chrome and firefox. GC wont run adobe flash so I flip over to firefox. Windows explorer failed me miserably. Try chrome and get used to having your chain jerked.   Bill
