Title: saw a 65 GS 4 speed with A/C on V8 board

There's a pretty neat 65 GS listed on V8Buick.com. listed as a Cali car that is rust free. I gave it some serious consideration but with the cost of used parts for these cars and the difficulty finding them I just dont have another restoration in me.

That is a neat car. Having gone through it I can?t imagine what it would cost to do a complete resto on that car today. And I didn?t have to deal with AC. You?d be better off getting it to run well and fix the mechanicals, then drive the heck out of it and have fun.

Mark is so correct. It would be a fun car to cruise around in as it is however, just the cost of making the car roadworthy and drivable would be very expensive.

you guys are right on the money and thats why I am not giving in to temptation. if it were a Non A/C car I'm not sure I could resist.
