PM sent interested in front bumper
-
2nd in line for the front bumper.
-
looks like the bumper may be sold. If not I will get with you.
-
Is the side spear trim all 6 pieces if stainless for the side on a 2 door car?
Thanks.
-
The front fender piece is heavier, with a vent a port type look. The door and rear quarter are stainless. They came off a 2 door car. The rear quarter pieces must be 7' long. Very good condition. Because of the length, shipping may be an issue.
-
I'm interested in them if we can figure how to get them here. I ship moldings in PVC tubes for safe travels.
Thanks.
-

John, that's up to you. I will be willing to hold them for you untill we can figure out getting them to you, or you can get the ones from Loren if you need them now. Would be best if we talked before going on to be sure these are the ones for you. Glenn 419-785-5237.

Thanks Dan. News gets around quick. The trip home yesterday was not a fun ride, heavy rain almost all the way and towing the 65 on an open trailer the poor thing was exposed to more water then it has seen for the past twenty years. Todays job is to get it cleaned up top to bottom.
-
Glenn,
Please share more info on your first place win. Drag race? Car show?
Whatever it was, congrats!

Chuck, I made my annual trek to Bowling Green, Ky for the Gran Sport Club of America Nationals. Three days of all Buicks. Drag racing Thursday, Friday and finals on Saturday. Car show Friday and parts vendors area. I had planned on just taking the car until I purchased the 65 Skylark stuff. The trip now turned into a truck load of parts and the car on a trailer. All went well until Friday. They got the cars all judged by early afternoon and then the rains came. Loaded everything, car and parts and wated for the judging results. Got first in class 65 to 69 GS hardtops. Made the 8 hr. trip back to Defiance on Saturday in a driving rainstorm. I had the only 65 GS at the event other then an 8 sec. drag car.

Congratulations! We sure had a good time driving our GS?s to BG last year. It rained then too. Hope to get back there next year driving a 66.
