I have a question would the front fenders and trunk and hood from a 67 hard top fit my 66 convertible GS ????

The trunk lid is very different between 1966 and 1967, it won't work.
The '67 hood and front fenders would fit if you also use the '67 radiator core support, grille, headlight assemblies and bumper..... but then it will no longer look like a 1966.

I have a 66 GS hood, fenders and a trunk lid available.  hell I have an entire 66 GS car..lol

Bob,
  Have you decided to part out the 66 post car instead of putting the frame and drive-train under the white 66 Special you found?

Honestly since i haven't started the project yet i could go either way. I also have a complete 455 /th400 combo i could use . i'm leaning towards selling the frame even if i use the GS drivetrain since it's not really going to make much of a difference in the build.
