Does anyone have the Jack part that is curved and hooks on to the bumper and the other end hooks on to the trolley ? And i also need the long spring that holds the jack to the trunk floor. If you have one or both of these items please let me know.. Thanks.

Tony,
Bobbybuick on this forum had some jack parts for sale. They might still be available.
You can get the spring at a hardware store. Look in the aisle with door springs.
I can get dimensions for you if you need it.

Thanks for the info Mark, I looked at the parts Bobbybuick has and he does not have the part that i need. Yes, if you can send those dimensions i would really appreciate it. I have several good old fashioned hardware stores in my area that have just about anything anyone would need.

Hi Tony. I've parted many 65's over the years and I MAY have a complete bumper Jack....

Hi Wheelz, If you have the part that attaches to the bumper, (The curved part) that's the part that I really need, but i would take the whole set if you sold it that way. Mark said that i could find the long spring at a hardware store. He is going to send me the dimensions so i can get the proper length. Thanks, Tony

Tony,
An original spring is 14 3/4 inches in length. Outside diameter is 7/16".
The hardware store won't have one in those exact dimensions, but you can get close.
Bought one for mine and I believe we had to cut the length down an inch or maybe two.
Looks and works great. Hope that helps! I'll post a picture of the original for reference.

Good info here... I'm still looking for an actual photo of the jack and all the gear loaded up in the trunk.

Hi Mark & all that are helping me with looking for the Jack Parts. ( I picked up the computer this afternoon, its all updated and ready for another 3 years !)
I found a correct spring at the hardware store, It's a "Prime Line" SP #9646 " Adjustable 13" to 16 1/2" this should work just fine. If it's too long I will cut it. The website is www.plpci.com (http://www.plpci.com). True Value & the big box stores carry this brand. All I need now is the other part and i'm all set.
Thanks for the photos Mark.

Hey all ,
as long as we,re on the subject of bumper jacks I recently picked up one but just noticed by the photos that posted here that they are the solid T bar type post . The one I just bought has the hollow post , did they use both types or did I get sold the wrong one ?
The guy is a pretty well known seller on e bay and said that it came out of a 65 skylark . He had two of them and they were both the same . :icon_scratch:

Hey John,
They came with either the t-bar or the hollow post. Youre good to go.
