Dear mid-60s Buick owners who could use a little more range,
There is a new player in the production gas tank market (at least to me.) They are Aeromotive and they specialize in various fuel system components with a specialty in EFI components:

They have for sale a 25 gallon gas tank for the 1964-67 Buick Skylark:

I assume this will fit the GS and Specials (except alas wagons.) These tanks are 1 inch deeper than the stock tanks and that is how they gain the extra fuel capacity. 5 more gallons is 25% additional capacity so that would make our thirsty Buicks able to go a bit farther between fill-ups. These tanks are much more expensive than the Spectra Premium tanks, but I assume would be at least competitive with custom fabricated tanks.
Alas, no tank for the 1964-67 El Camino (which would also fit the Buick wagons.) It's discrimination I tell ya'!! . . . . :angry1:
Cheers, Edouard :occasion14:
