Quite a project but some high-end options such as AC, PW and power seats.

Love the color combination! and options! Late car as it has the stud covers on the taillight bolts! Paint code is very strange as it shows EE with no top color!? Most Freemont cars have two or three color codes sometimes four but no code for the top color is weird should be a number for the top color!

Interesting patchwork quilt. Skylark fender, Special bumper, etc. It is a project!

As a friend of mine is fond of saying - sometimes free is too much. That’s more than a project.
Great parts car for a west coast buyer though.

Dan, your friend is very wise.

Ten years ago someone would have chimed in and said "I've fixed worse"....but I like to think I'm not that silly anymore. That car could be saved, but hours vs. dollars has definitely scrapped a lot of projects.Hopefully someone closer to it can do some good with what is left.

A shame it got that far gone. Same color code as my convert. I have the 4 speed and no AC or PW, otherwise a twin.
-
A lot of hard to find and expensive parts missing for the AC system. No mention as to if the engine is not stuck.
Love the color combo, but will stick to the project I have already.

Definately more than I?d want to tackle. Dan, you sure know smart people.

I have to say it. My car was much worse. I must not be one of the smart ones.

Yes, and wise ones too.

You are definitely one of the smart ones Rob. Yours is a four speed convertible.
Looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks.

Just for the heck of it I threw a couple bids on it . Then I looked up on map quest where White city Oregon is , :violent1: YIKES thats over there .
Even further than the one I bought . No more bids from me .

Cheaper to have it shipped John. I don't know if it's just me or that passenger rear tire is out of whack like the control arm rusted out. She may be even rougher than I thought.
-
with the rear wheels being on Dollies i'd bet the rear or brakes are frozen. that car will take Cubic $$ to bring back and isn't remotely close to being worth the effort or money it would take to save it.
-
Realistically, that's a $1200 car. Most of what anybody wants is in terrible shape.
-
It sold. Is the new owner here?
-
No, it says 'Reserve not met'.
-
My apologies for the mise print. He must be very proud of his Buick.
-
It could be a decent project for someone that has a parts car to replace the many high dollar items like chrome and interior. Or for someone that has a Special/Skylark they want to restore, they could 'upgrade' for $1500 (or whatever reserve is) and sacrifice the S/S and have a real GS instead.
This one has the 'bones'..... GS chassis, drivetrain and pedigree. The rest just gets bolted/welded back on.
