Car looks very nice. Underside is very impressive!
What was the car bid to the first time round?
-
The last 2 times it was Buy it Now or best offer $19,900. The first time it was bid to $18,600.
-
Early car Flint built ! Funny it ended up in AZ, CA? Body plate shows power seat and white top! Also non rosette rivet car! Second week of January built a little after the black convertible I have! Should buy it! Lol
-
Too bad the nailhead?s gone, the body looks good.
-
I agree Jim. I'd sure prefer a Nailhead....
Is it just me or is the gap between the driver's front fender and door way too wide? It's advertised to have "crisp gaps", but that one stands out as too wide to me. Might be the camera angle, but I don't think so.
Located an hour or so away from me. But I'm not tempted.......
:cheers2:

It probably is not a bad car to just drive. The problem is when you start trying to make it "right" and everything starts adding up to the point where you could have just bought it that way. The rust that used to be in the trunk was probably just bombed rather than treated and fixed properly and it would be nice to see some closer pics of the doors and other seams. I would have to say for the right price that the car appears to be in very good condition, but the seller is too willing to overllook the fact that a 65 GS is not a 65 GS with the current driveline.

I think you're correct Chuck the gap looks excessive. I think light colored cars show gap spacing more than darker colors.

It does have its good points.
However..
Crisp gaps....that drivers door looks close to 1/2"
Engine upgrade.... 1969 400 :nono:
Seems the builder was not a Nailhead fan, like me :love4:

Looks like the seller found a buyer. Reserve has been met.

That $149,999.99 bid was retracted! Just how high IS the reserve!???

$22,000 was what showed before the retraction.

Most likely it should have the small badge yes!

The $22,000 bid that I saw last night has now been backed down to $15,100 with reserve not met. This is starting to look like a soap opera!! :crybaby2:

His actual bid was $149,999.99, as Walt noted, but since the reserve was $22,000 (now reduced) that’s all that showed up. Then he retracted the bid.

I missed that. See, just like a soap opera. Miss a day and you've missed all the excitement! :angry1:

Good luck!
