Post by: 66GSconv. on November 03, 2009, 04:22:44 PM
Today, I drop off the frame to get it dip and  the trailing arms to be box in and now to order the bushing. I'v been told that I should look at energy suspension and look to get the polyurethane and after that what do you say about some power brakes systems on the front. sure could use your guys advice.

They will slightly improve handling if you drive the car hard. But urethane bushings will make the ride harsher.
I use the stock type rubber bushings. They work better on the less-than-perfect roads around here.

I never noticed much difference in ride harshness when I went to polyurethane bushings in my cars.   They do make the car handle much better though and also help reduce wheel hop in the rear if you happen to break the tires loose!

I've heard the urethane bushings develop a horrible squeak overtime that's impossible to get rid of.
