i will keep looking and as a last resort, may do it..i just missed one for $275...

i want to put it on the 65 GS i just got..

  Wow, $275 is a steal.  I've seen them in the $350 - $400 range normally. 

  You may want to try Carmen Faso out in NY.  He has a lot of nail head parts, I've been in part of his shop and basement of his house.

ive known Carmen since around 87....he's on my list to check with

yes i think 3-400ish is about right..although when i sold my last one, i think i may have gotten $300ish..story of my life..everyone gets insane money for their stuff, and i give mine away..lol...not really...its just nuts what this stuff brings anymore..just crazy

im sure i will find one for cheap, right after i pay top dollar for one..

 I too have known Carmen for about the same time. Great guy and extremely knowledgeable.

Sounds like you and I run the same financials. haha Sold or traded stuff off to only need it later. lol

i held that Qjet manni for a decade...tired of looking at it on the shelf and sold it...i have a rule..dont touch it for 2 years ask if i really need it...if not sell..

part of it i guess..truth is..i like the hunt more than most..i get motivated and work everything pretty hard..

How did they put the 3bbl on? Can you do that with an adapter? Just curious because I have one of those carbs and you do not see too many of them anymore.

i dont really know all the exact details..i  do see an adapter, but Doc worked the intake over a lot...

it is the set up Doc put together...when i get the new intake, and a fresh carb, i will pull this and sell it...and share what i find..

i am removing it because i want a driver/cruiser...not looking to go race...

I bought Docs car and am changing a few things to the way i want it...

i will prob do a thermoquad...back in the day, a q jet intake and a big thermoquad was unbeatable and super streetable and reliable...its where i will start anyway
