Title: st300 cross member

took my frame in yesterday to have the trans. brackets move back to hold a st400 and I was looking at the cross member  looks a little weird. Is there between the two cross members a st300 to a st400,after the mods. off to the dip tank!!!

The ST400 wasn't used until 1967.  As far as I know, the crossmembers are the same.
The 66 floor shifter needs to be modified to fit with a ST400 trans due to lack of clearance. 67 GS ST400 shifters are much different than 65-66 shifters....they go thru the floor in a different place.
