Quite the cold snap we’ve been having isn’t it ? A warm spell in Green Bay recently has meant temperatures are above zero. Must be payback for some previous ‘warm’ winter.

That is my thought, also, to cold to work in the shop, so moved into the basement, and am finishing the assembly of the 66 GS bumpers.

Dear John, Dan, Bill, and mid-60s Buick owners who must brave Winter,

Well guys and gals , its a good day to be indoors working on those cars ( or other projects )  as up here in zimmerman mn. its    -18 with the high today looking to get up to a whopping -6 .

If I recall correctly, the same high pressure ridge that is blocking the rains that normally come to California causes arctic air to plunge back down into the continental United States.  That ridge is expected to weaken and move East next week providing some welcome rains to California.  The same weather pattern change might help warm up areas that are being blasted by arctic air at the moment.

Cheers, Edouard

You are right Edouard.  Here in SW Michigan we are supposed to have negatives to low teens for all of next week, then into the twenties after that.  Only problem is the forecast calls for a lot of snow with the warmer temps.  Heavier snow that is a lot more difficult to move....Hopefully, I'll get back in the shop and on reassembly.  Took some time off to prepare for the Christmas holiday and to tile the backsplash in our kitchen.  So no guilt in going out to the shop to work on the car!

Received my restored armrest bases in the mail today and will pick up my glass next week.  Better get busy!  Bill's bumper project reminds me that I need to do the same.

Going to relax and watch some football tonight.  On Wisconsin!  Go Dan!

 :cheers2:
