With 455 and no interior or underhood pictures. Or Trim Tag. Can't be sure it's a GS, but they think it is.

There are lots of pictures, including the trim tag, just need to go WAY down in the listing. Looks pretty good.
Real 65 GS by the trim tag.

Here is a picture of the cowl tag and the correct [?] vinyl interior.

I think the ST300, built correctly would hold up. The ST300 is basically a Power Glide and some of the performance parts swap over from the PG to the ST300.
I have not seen an adaptor to mate a 455 engine to the ST300 transmission. There are adaptors to mate a Nailhead to a later transmission.

Hi,
Betting its a st300 from a 300/340/350 or a Olds or Pontiac, doubt its the original nailhead trans.

Jim,
You are so right. I keep forgetting about those and using them with a 455.
The 455 I put in one of my '65's was coupled to a Turbo 400. The pair came out of a Electra 225.
And this is why our community works so well. A vast knowledge base out there.
Got to expand my horizons, haha.
