Title: Very nice documentary on Buick posted on You-Tube.
Post by: elagache on July 04, 2017, 11:07:51 AM
Dear Buick faithful,

Completely by accident, I came across a documentary made for the History channel on Buick:

https://youtu.be/NnqJXHlChoM (https://youtu.be/NnqJXHlChoM)

It was made around 1995, so it doesn't have any history after that.  Nonetheless it covers Buick's early years in great detail and uncovered a few connections that I wasn't aware of.  It makes a very good case for the central role Buick has played in the American auto industry.  It is the perfect way for those of us you aren't going to Allentown to share in the history of Buick.  For those of you going to the convention, it should be a really enjoyable way to cap off your Buick experience once you return home!

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

P.S. If you have any way to view this video on a regular television, you find the documentary that much more enjoyable to watch.

Just watched it from start to finish. Lots of interesting info. If Durant had bought Ford for 8 million in 1908 the auto industry would be much different today.
