Title: Did the 4 speeds come with any sort of an ironing board console??

So did any kind of console come between the bucket seats?

I have an opportunity to get a nice one.

The ironing board style doesn't work well with a 4 speed....either the shifter hits it, or your arm will.
Brian will know for sure....he posted on V8 once upon a time about it. :sunny:

Hey guys. I remember visiting Warhoops wreckers in Detroit around 1989 and they had a 64 Skylark 4 speed with that console and the shift plate with pattern. I removed the console and left it there as he wanted 50 bucks and I thought that was too expensive. Attempted to buy the entire car later but they thought it was some legal thing and would not sell. They closed a few years ago.
