Title: Door panel emblem

Has anybody tried to restore a set of door panel ornaments? Mine are not too pretty and I was thinking about looking for a good pair or taking these apart. Any suggestions?

I have asked the same question and like you, have received no answers or comments. I am not giving up but maybe we are doomed to live with the nasty looking originals!
