Title: January, 2017 Bugle
Post by: Loren At 65GS on December 27, 2016, 05:11:29 PM
There is a very well done article in the January 2017 BCA Bugle about the  65 Gran Sport gathering in Ohio this last September.

My thanks to Chuck and Bob for their excellent work on the article.

Thanks Loren.  It was a labor of love for a really fun event that definitely needed to be documented and advertised.  I hope it encourages others to join in!

Agree Loren , that was a good article put together .  It was nice to read up on it for those of us that couldn,t make it .
I also liked the article on route 66 , I have been gathering info about route 66 for about a year now .  Some day i,m going to take a 2 or 3 week vacation and cruise a good portion of it or as much as I can anyway .
Think i,ll stay at the cozy cone 1 night   :sleepy2:    . lol

Driving what remains of Historic Route 66 is on my bucket list as well. I did see some of it in 1966 when my parents took us kids to Los Angeles. Don't have any photos, just memories.

There's a facebook page devoted to Rte 66, but it's been dormant lately.

I talked with Chuck today and had a chance to thank him for his truly wonderful article covering our Northwest Ohio Get Together. Great exposure for the 65 Buick guys, thanks once more Chuck!

Time to start thinking and talking about next years get together.

 Kevin,

You are very right on that.  I've already got it penciled in.

Title: Finally got my copy - great job! (Re: January, 2017 Bugle)

Dear Loren, Chuck, Jim, John, Dan, Mark, Tom, Glenn, Kevin, and mid-60s Buick owners community,

My copy of the Bugle finally was delivered by the mailman and yes indeed a great article!  Hat's off to Chuck and Bob! (http://www.canebas.org/WeatherCat/Forum_support_documents/Custom_emoticons/tip_hat_smiley.gif)

It is surprising how slow surface mail is compared to first-class.  I never imagined it would take that long to reach California.

(http://www.canebas.org/WeatherCat/Forum_support_documents/Custom_emoticons/wink_smile_triangle.gif) . . . .  Perhaps we should try to encourage the post office to employ some 1965 Buick Gran Sports to speed things up! . . . Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:
