Title: October 2: National "name your car" day?
Post by: elagache on September 30, 2016, 12:03:47 PM
Dear mid-60s caregivers of cars that are part of the family, . . . .

As lots of you also receive, I get the promotional emails from Original Parts Group. There is a 15% off sale running through Sunday. The reason:

National "name your car" day . . . . . .

Being the skeptical type I did an internet search and sure enough:

http://www.nationaldaycalendar.com/national-name-your-car-day-october-2/ (http://www.nationaldaycalendar.com/national-name-your-car-day-october-2/)

October 2nd is supposedly national "name your car" day.

Since our family's trusty wagon has had the name Biquette since 1968, I think we are covered:

Still I'm not entirely sure I like the idea of a national "name your car" day. It may help OPGI sell a few parts but somehow I don't think Hallmark is going sell many cards on this occasion!

Cheers, . . . . Edouard  :occasion14:
