John,

Yes they will fit the dual quad setup. Think they were originally made to go with the 2x4's.

2ND question ,  would you place a bid OR just pull the trigger ?     :dontknow:

If you really want them, you might want to pull the trigger.  I bought a nice set for $400 + shipping.  They were original, but had been media blasted, so not the original finish.  If these are original finish in pristine condition, that might make them worth more to a restorer.  With free shipping from Texas, it's not an unrealistic price.

You will find others on Ebay from time to time, some original and some reproductions.  Some of them are priced at least as high as these.

Good luck!

Those valve covers may have had a little extra bonus .
The guy sends me a message thru e bay thanking me for the purchase . Also wanting to know what they were going on . ( if I didn,t mind telling him )
Then he tells me he,s a world wide Hot Rod photographer and his web site . I checked it out a little and thought it was pretty cool .
Web site is www.trentsherrill.com (http://www.trentsherrill.com)

Nice website. I'll admit I went right to the 'Gals' and 'Gals+Auto' pages! While the look is somewhat before my time, the simple beauty is very captivating, nice to see the look come back. Also starting to appreciate some of those mild customs and sometimes even the rat rods.... just something a little out of the box than the usual car show stuff.

But back to the valve covers..... Both the chrome oil breather and the standoffs/looms for the plug wires are reproduced, Ames or CARS for the breather, and Russ Martin/Buickrodder for the wire standoffs.
