Title: Hello from Cincinnati
Post by: wildcat65 on June 11, 2008, 11:06:01 AM
I thought I would register and say hello!
This one did not have any engine or transmission, but it is an original 4-speed body R-R and black interior.  Pretty basic!  Non power brakes - but tilt wheel - I've got a transmission being built (6/08) and all clutch bits are ready to install.  I had a couple bellhousing shafts made and actually have some extra parts in case anything wears out.  The engine has been dyno'd @ 377 HP 459 Lb-FT torque, so its going to be wild.
I have several red cars - there are a lot of red 65's left (Brian  ;)) so I painted it this lovely grey.

Hi Ted!

Welcome to the forum, you'll be a great asset here.
It would be nice to see some in-progress pics of your car
in the project/restoration section.

Mark

Glad you could join us Ted!
The car looks incredible. Nice job!
Curious what trans and rear ratio you are going with.

Your cars are simply awesome!

Whoa, I forgot about this post!
Walt, the car has a stock 3.31:1 and I like it (on paper anyway!)
I'll get the high nickel gears, but a 2.56:1 1st gear (wider ratio)

See ya,
Ted
