Title: 66 Skylark Fender
Post by: Rochester on January 13, 2016, 12:02:24 PM
I know this is a 65 site, but does anyone have a straight rust-free front pass side fender for a 66 Skylark?

"I know this is a 65 site"

Hey Rochester,

We are here for '64 - '66 A body Buicks. It would be great to see more of '64 - '66 Skylark folks and pictures of their rides.

This about more then '65 Gran Sports. LOL  Just seems to be some crazy '65 GS guys that post a lot here.  Hey I resen...., I mean resemble that remark.  LOL

Best of luck with your search, hope some one here can help. It would be helpful if you included your location.

Wait, they made these things in other years too?

I have a NOS one, but I think it is for the drivers side. Have a pass one but not rust free, and not worth shipping. Yes your location would help, shipping is a big cost. You can use a 67 but would have to cut the side trim hole and as I remember one less or more bolt around the headlight to core support 66 to 67. Will double check my fenders and post back, thanks Bill.

I am located in central PA.  My car is a 66 GS convertible with power windows and seat, air, tilt and am/fm.   Needs some body work, but is fairly solid 70,000 mile car.  My trunk lid has some damage, so I may need one of those also.  I prefer rust-free parts.

Like one of my 66's except for the tilt. I have some small parts for 66's and a 66 GS parts car, no large parts like fenders though. Let me know if you need small parts. Like Loren said, "post some pictures".

Tried to load a pic of the car, but the site will not upload JPEG files

Check the size.  That is usually the issue.

Jpg is one of the allowed file types, as are pdf, gif, mpg, avi, wmv, png.

Biggest issue is the allowed individual size at 4000KB.

You cannot upload that type of file. The only allowed extensions are pdf, jpg, gif, mpg, avi, wmv, png.

This is the notice that appeared when I tried to load the picture.  jpg files will load, but not mine which are jpeg

Rochester, looked at my 66 parts, the NOS fender is the drivers side. I have a nice rust free pass 67 fender, but has slight damage on front. I also have a very nice deck lid. thanks Bill.

Thanks for looking.  I know that the 67 would work, but I will hold out for a rust-free 66 fender.  Where are you located?  I may need a trunk lid.

If you don't find what you need, let me know. I have some 66 Skylark convertible parts also. I do not have any fenders but I do have a trunk lid. I am in Michigan which is a little closer. Thank you, Les

Still looking for a pass side fender for my 66 GS.  Have found some nearby, but they have rust.
