Do any of you know whether the shifter location in the tunnel is the same or different between the T-10 and a Muncie M21? I've got a Muncie and before I weld the shifter hump in place I'd like to be confident of the relative location of the shifters on these to transmissions.
Thanks,
Chuck

I know the T-10 has multiple shifter mounts for the GS car. In the pic you can see the "GS" stamp where the center bolt goes for the correct location. Some Muncie trans also have multiple patterns.

I like that flywheel.

Yup .On the shifter note . I thought I had a shifter for my 3 spd. I haven't herd from the guy so I guess I am looking for a shifter again.

The '67 GS used the Muncie trans. It should be a close match for fit, but in your case it would depend on which tailhousing you have.
I'd suggest holding off welding the hump in place until you can verify the correct position. You can even 'bond' it with a urethane glue or sealer instead of welding.
I really like the urethane roof sealant from Home Depot for all the interior seams..... it's black like the original but performs so much better than the original sealer.
