I've been looking at your site as a guest, I am restoring a 65 skylark GS, and have found a lot of useful information so far, I finally found time to sign up today. I have had a lot of buicks over the years and decided I like the 65's the best, I currently have the skylark GS, a 65 Riviera GS and a 65 custom sportwagon, and just recently sold a 65 buick wildcat convt. I am looking forward to dealing with others sharing my interest in buicks.

Well, you do have a fairly legitimate excuse. Let's welcome the new project and maybe he will get us both back in motivation mode.
Welcome and try to post some pics of the GS......or the wagon for the guys who just have to be different...

thought I would share a few pictures with you guys, cars are put up for winter, so good shots are hard, skylark GS is in primer ready for paint. also shown is 65 Riviera GS and 65 sportwagon. I also thought you guys would appreciate sign I had made, had an original GS ad blown up for lighted sign.
-
Nice pictures, thanks for sharing! Love the sign!
-

sign has two bulbs, image was printed on type of sticker that allows light to pass thru, and was stuck to clear plexiglass trimmed to fit sign.
-
Very nice stable of cars and the sign is way cool.
Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Tom ,
That sign is really really COOL !!! Nice job
-
Tom, how much did it cost for the sign? I looked into making some once but the style the place I checked used was cost prohibitive.
-
its been a while since I had it made, I bought Plexiglas at local hardware store, price will vary depending on your sign size. I think this one was around $30. decal was I believe $75 to $100 and they applied it to Plexiglas for me. I had it made as place called fast signs.
