There are repo handles for Impalas that look real close to our GS ones if you'd rather have nice chrome on a handle that's bent a little different.
For the shifter mechanism, I once found one at a swap meet that was identical to the 65 GS one except it had a short handle on it. Unsure if it came from another make/model or I just lucked out!

Thanks for posting Walt,
I was debating on rechroming my original, but the chrome on that piece was pretty nice. There is no way that the chrome guy would make my original look that good without doubling that price. I think the Muncie shifter base was used on the T-10's in all 65 Buicks. That handle is a bugger to find because it is a combination of borg warner trans, muncie shifter, and "buick only" handle. I think he still has the other one if anybody else needs it. Dan

I saw this one at a swap meet last week, in nice enough shape but it looks like the curve is wrong, not much bend here. Any ideas?

I'm thinking bigger GM,like Bonneville or Catalina. It is hard to say without putting it next to a common one like Malibu or bench vs. buckets comparison.
