Title: Trunk lid

Hello, does anyone have a 65 gs  trunk lid for sale? also any rocker strips that go down the bottom of the   door.thanks Richard 65.

I have a good lid but it is for a 64 which means you would have to drill holes for the GRAN SPORT logo or glue it on.  It also has the holes for the BUICK letters.  You can have it, we just have to ship it.

Thank you for your reply.   I'm not sure about the buick letters, my trunk lid only has gs. How would I convert the letter holes? Do you just use a filler and sand?  My lid has something under the paint.  It is all over the lid but under the paint.  I dont want to throw it away but Im not sure it will sand out.

Yes the holes for the BUICk letters would have to filled and sanded.  Not a big project.  Locating and drilling the holes for the GRAN SPORT logo, will be more of a task.  I think the easy way would be to glue the emblem on.  All of todays emblems are glued on using  a 3M product.

How about a template.  I'll have to look through my lids and see what I have. I think that  there may be one from a GS.

I know tomorrow is out of the question, wife's birthday and working overtime yet.
