Title: Heat Riser Valve for 401/425
Post by: 1971 on September 15, 2015, 03:22:43 PM
All you Buick Folks,
I'm returning my wife's 1965 GS back to stock.  I'll be replacing the current exhaust headers with stock exhaust manifolds.  Would anyone have a "Heat Riser Valve for 401/425" for sale. Thanks, Richard

Hi,

Unless you are going 100% stock you can use a donut gasket, one with a steel insert and mount the exhaust that way, I've been running mine that way for the past 6 years

I have some, one complete, but frozen, one not frozen but missing one spring and one blank. If interested I can post pictures. Thanks Bill.

Hi all,

No part number, the exhaust shop matched something they had laying around, I do know the donut fit a 2 1/4 pipe flared

Sorry can't be more helpful

Regards,
