The black with red is the original paint combo on this car! The differences from the factory  on beauty is the top is cloth instead of vinyl and was originally white! also the glass is all new tinted! Wanted to keep as many things true on her as possible! Even has the bench seat up front!

Wow Jon

That black red color combination is a killer.

My very first 65 GS was a black with red interior hardtop.

Sold it to buy material for my first house.

There are times I question if that was the right decision.

As a conciliation it wound up in a good home here in Minnesota.

Dear Jon, George, Milton, Jim, and fans of beautiful mid-60s Buicks

Beauty got a new set of shoes! (Rims and tires) correct gray pockets and a brand new spanking cloth top ! She also got to go for a long ride! :headbang:

Wow!  That's a real head turner!  :icon_thumright:

The photo thumbnail of the trunk looked like the paint was dull and tarnished, but when viewed at full resolution it was instead the paint reflecting the sky!  Now that's a mirror finish if you'll never get one!

Don't drive that car without sunglasses!  :glasses9:

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

Very nice car and glad to see it in one piece. I got busy again and have not touched mine all week, but hopefully that will change now that the weather is going my way. I really like the black cars especially with a good contrast on interior color.
