Title: 65 GS TA headers
Post by: Buicknut65 on July 18, 2015, 08:26:28 PM
I pulled motor since rear main seal was leaking and put factory manifolds back on . They have two spots pushed in a little from loading on trailer I'd guess from when I bought it .
Over all real nice clean up and you'd never see unless racked . $ 225 shipped US

the pictures are a little fuzzy but they look like old "club" headers. If they are T/A headers for sure, I'm interested.

Jerry.

Those are ta headers. There the same exact ones I have on my 66 Gs.  That's s a really  killer deal for those headers. They flow really good. I dropped a consistent   2-3 tenths in the quarter and picked up a couple of mph.

Good deal!
The old Kustom headers also had the 3" collector.
The GSCA headers only had a 2-1/2" collector.
To fix the 'dent', it might be easier to just cut it out and weld in a patch.
Jerry, do you have another GS project you're putting these on?

No, just think it's time to update from the old "club" headers. They are getting a little rough. besides, I'm hoping to find a few HP. It's not fun unless it's a little faster than last season.

Jerry, just to let you know I will NOT be going to Cecil. I will give the agreed $$$ amount to John Cosordes Sr/Jr. I'm sure you know who they are. They are the ones who ALWAYS step up & get things like this Cecil thing done. John Jr. usually drives the purple colored Skyhawk or the purple with black stripe GS. They will have a large white trailer being pulled by a black Ford F-350 4dr. with a white GS/GN banner on the side.

Thank you,

Tom T.

P.S.-let me know if you get this message???

That's GOOD news Jerry. I'm heading up to Readers Digest this morning to give John Jr. an envelope.
