Special thanks to all who served !!!!

Thanks for the reminder, John.
We need to remember that tomorrow is more then a day off from the daily grind and give thanks for those who have served in our military and the sacrifices they and their families have made.

Agreed. Thank you to all Vets!

One of the kids on our street is a Boy Scout, and as a project, he puts a large American flag in the front yard of every house on our street (about 10 houses on each side) each holiday. It looks awesome!! He asks for $20 per house as an optional donation (I obviously gladly pay), which he donates to a local charity. It's 7 AM here right now, and I just heard him and his Dad out in the yard pounding the piece of re-bar they use to hold up the pole into my front lawn.
God Bless America

I tried to take a picture of our street so that I could share how wonderful this looks, but it just doesn't capture it.

We decorate our home for all national holidays, I just love red white and blue displays, I like it when people slow down when driving by. I can put John Phillip Sousa and other patriotic music on and crank up the volume till the windows rattle and your chest vibrates.
Keith, post the picture, maybe someone can do something with it.

Today is Flag Day, and the flags are back up in our neighborhood. Can't figure out how to insert a picture, when I click the "Insert Image" icon, all I get is a bunch of brackets and the words "img" twice; what next?
