Title: Clutch fan

I have a question, I was going to add a clutch fan to my 65 w/o a/c and somebody told I should not do that the extra weight is not good for the water pump. Any thoughts and did anybody add one?

Don't hesitate for a second - I did it on mine and have put 15k miles and about 700 1/4 mile passes and have had no problems with my (original 85 k?) water pump....
