Title: Hardtop or convertible question..

Looking for the guy who has been there and done that on sheet metal work. So,the question is ....Can I use the hardtop panel between the trunk and rear window on a convertible shell ? Mine has a rust issue in the rain gutter seal area and they make a new panel for coupes,but I was not sure if it could be trimmed and used on a convertible.   Dan

Dan,
 Not exactly sure what part you are referring to. If it is the filler panel between the trunk lid and the rear window, hard top and convertible are totally different.
