Title: clicking sound ?
Post by: buickmiester3 on July 06, 2013, 02:29:21 PM
I'm getting a clicking sound when i go forward and when i put it in Reverse? sort of like a card when it's attached to a spoke wheel? as i depress gas pedal the sound progresses? i'm stumpped? any idea's out there? i've changed both yoke and rear U-Joints figuring this was the problem.

when you have the car up in the air to change the u joints, spin the front tires. Could be a wheel bearing. Good Luck. Vinnie

Is the car automatic or manual transmission?

First check and make sure the bolts holding the torque converter to the flexplate are tight.  If everything is okay there and the flexplate is not cracked, check to make sure the park pawl is working correctly in the trans--if it is not fully disengaging, it could cause a clicking sound.
