We just sold our hardtop to Milton. He drove through the Minnesota snow to Kansas City to pick her up on Saturday. We have mixed feelings about selling the hardtop as it has been a great dependable GS. But after owning it for 15 years, it was time to find a new caretaker. I'm relieved to know that it's going to a great new home where it can be driven and enjoyed by another Buick family. Congratulations Milton, Karen and Taylor.

Milton, you've bought one of my favorite 65's. This car is amazingly original and John always maintained it to the highest level. This is also the strongest running 65 I've ever rode in and it'll really plant you in the seat when it's opened up.
It's a little sad to see it leave John and Karens garage however we all know that it's going to another member of of 65 family and it'll be preserved and enjoyed before eventually passed onto the next generation of 65 lovers.
Congratulations on your newest arrival :occasion16:

Milt,
Congrats on the new arrival.
I've had the opportunity to drive that one and it is a sweet, well cared for original. It took a lot of self-persuasion to not bring it home.
Sorry we missed you yesterday.

Thanks for the compliments
Our family feels privileged to take over the stewardship of this storied automobile.
This car has seen many shining moments and hopefully it is only the beginning.

Congratulations Milton! :cheers2: I wasn't even aware that John's car was available, not that I could afford it anyway. :icon_biggrin:

I'm not sure John and Karen realize they have actually sold the car yet but I predict there will be another work of art coming out of their garage from what I seen peeking out from under a certain dust cover.
