Hi Mark, glad you could join us!
How is the '65 painting coming along?
Hey I recieved my repo exhaust from Gardner on Thursday, and of course installed it on my '66 4spd chassis immediately. It it sooo nice installing an exhaust system with the body off the frame.
Quality and workmanship on Gardners system is fantastic. They even included a free pint glass.....that'll come in handy!

$590+$125 for the optional hardware upgrade+ $72.96 s/h= $787.96 total
This is the only bolt-on system I could find for the 65-66 GS. I did get some inside info that Pypes will be doing a performance system for one of the employees.....Maybe it'll become a production item.

Walt!
Glad to hear about the Gardner system, I definately plan to buy one. Sounds like ther price has gone up slightly since I talked to them, but it really doesn't matter when I've gone this far.
The car isn't painted yet (the top is!) but it's getting very close. He was color sanding the sealer yesterday on the fenders and hood. Then the front goes back on, Monday or Tuesday. He says it'll take him the better part of a day to mask, then it's in the booth! He hopes to have it painted/cleared by next weekend. The past month, we have talked on the phone every day.
I plan to be over there Monday night, and definately later in the week as this progresses. I'll keep you posted!

BTW, Happy Birthday Mark! Hope you had a good one.
So......your '65 is painted.....how's it look?

Walt,
Check out the thread on V8Buick that Brian Stone posted.
I can send you more pics if you're interested. Paint turned out great, I got the car back home about a week-ten days after your post. Work on the car didn't progress much over the summer, but now the engine and trans are in. Work will be picking up over the winter, and it will be running spring of 08.
