Title: GS post project in Maine. Ends 2/17 e-Bay!
Post by: WkillGS on February 13, 2009, 11:50:15 AM
One bid at $1000. I'm surprised there is no reserve on it.
Resto started, lots of extra parts. Could be a good buy!

Tom and I've been talking about that car Walt... we both agree that at $1,000 it could be well bought.

I keep going back to it to see if there is anything I've missed since I still can't find where a person could spend $12k on what's being shown in the picture.   ;D

Joe, I won't argue that you are confused (aren't we all!) ;D
I do recall a similar 65 that was on V8. I believe it was a complete, driving car. On a dealers lot? It was in NE somewhere. This seller does have some later GS goodies on eBay, like a NOS 1970 grille :o

Chris, it doesn't look like it could have 12K invested....he did say the frame and suspension was redone, but it's now rusty, and needs to be redone again.
There appear to be a lot of spare parts.....they could be gold or junk.

I do like the Burgundy mist color.... I wouldn't mind adding it to my stable, but my stable is full!

Never mind. I found it. Still at 1,000.00 why doesn't someone buy this?At say 1,100 it's very tempting.

Very interesting car. I like the color combo too, and the body style. That left side it tough. I wish there were more pictures of the quarters close up, and the floors.
Still only one bid.

Wish I was in a position to buy.

With two post cars, I don't need another and anyways, the spare drivers quarter I have is for a hardtop. lol
