Do you still have the filler panel?  is it a new piece or cut from a parts car.  could you post a pic of it?

The filler panel between the truck and the rear window is different between a 2dr and 4dr.   Also different on a 2dr. sedan car.  I do know that it is common with a Pontiac Lemans/GTO 2dr. HT though.  That is where I got the one in my car from!

I'll try to get a picture tomorrow of the panel that goes between the rear window and the truck lid. I believe you can find them reproduced for Pontiac or Olds and they work on a Skylark. The biggest issue for me sell the panel to you is UPS fees, but we can check into them and see if you still want it.

Check out  www.uship.com (http://www.uship.com)

It's a reverse auction that allows you to post a job out there for anyone to bid on.  I've had doors and other parts hauled to me in trailers and in the back of pickup trucks by guys that charge me a hundred bucks because they were hauling other things and traveling through my area anyhow.  I doesn't cost you anything to post a job and I've had really good luck with it.  Beware of the brokers who will take a deposit and then take a long time to set up the job.  I always like dealing with private individuals who are making the trip anyhow and have the extra room and can use the extra money.

Good luck,

Chris

I can probably put it on a pallet, but then I couldn't move it not having a forklift. I do have a BendPak hoist that I can probably use to get out of the trailer and on a pallet, but then I can't move it. I have moved whole El Camino bodies on Ford truck using two by six boards bolted together, I will look and see if it would work with just the rear clip. You would need to find someone driving a pick up your way if we use that method. I could modify the two by sixes to fit any pickup bed. It looks really weird going down the road, but I hauled that body hundreds of miles on my F250 and it didn't move.

talked to a person from uship.  He needed it on a pallet, that is all he said. I assume he has his own way of loading it.  just waiting on quotes still may cost to much don't know yet..

Just wondering if you still have the filler panel for a 2 door hardtop.  Pictures if possible.  is the window lip good?  does it include the pinch weld area on each end?

Here are the pictures, sorry I forgot I was supposed to get these for you. I can cut the panel down to save on shipping cost if you like, I do have a plasma cutter and I am usually looking for a reason to play with it.  :icon_biggrin:

Thanks for the pics. This is for a 2door hard top correct.  Was the price $25 plus shipping? I attached a phot of where you could cut it.  you can also cut the deck hinges off.  al I would need is the upper and lower sections of the deck filler,  window channel.  and the lip that the package tray goes under to the trunk lip. I will send you a PM with address.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, the price was $100, which is what I paid for it several years ago. It's not worth the time and effort at $25. You might want to check out the reproduction pieces that are made for either Tempest or Cutlass of the same year. I believe they are around $100 to $150 and you would get a better deal on the shipping costs from a vendor.

At this point I am not actively trying to sell it, but I am thinking about unloading all my GS stuff and just playing with my old Ford truck. If I do I will have lots to unload and it will be listed here and on V8Buick first. (I Have a daughter to get through college!)
