Title: rear spring mystery

 ??? On my Gs the rear springs have some spacers that are swaged around the coils..... there is about 4 of them.... they are a bar that fits between the coils and the ends of the bar are swaged around the spring on both ends..... not like the cheapie hammer on ones that were made many years ago..... looks factory with smooth ends..... I have never seen this before.... I dont much like them, if they are factory it was a heapie cheapie way of doing it.... ::) ::)
Any body else ever seen this before?????

Doc,can you post a picture?Sounds like some after market spacers that were popular back in the day.
