Title: 65 GS in MAryland
Post by: Mister T on November 29, 2011, 09:02:27 AM
I wish I could save this car, alas, no room.  There's a story behind this one. I hope someone closer can grab it. Seller is "suggesting" it might get scrapped!!  :angry9:

After looking at the original posting and then the additional pics by the new owner. It needs a lot to save it.
Sure it is a # matching car, but it will certainly take a great deal of $ and time to make more then a driver out of it. Just my opinion.
Been down that road with my first GS rag. Came to the realization it was beyond saving. Still have the drive train, tags and title though :BangHead:
As so many have said,"it's a sickness". lol

Agree with Loren. It could be saved but the buyer would be way under water. Better to buy Chris' convertible. You'd be way ahead dollar wise.

I tend to agree, but figured it's worth the shot, since seller was considering scrapping it, and we'd hate to see that happen.

It appears he has reconsidered, and may end up keeping it now.

I am in a somewhat similar boat with my car, #'s match but needs some rust repair in unusual spots.

I wish I could buy Chris's car, as I've sen it in person, plus had a ride.  :occasion14: Perhaps I better check those scratch lotto tickets that have been sitting on my desk for several weeks.... :icon_biggrin:
