Title: Vintage NEW YORK plate(s)

I am looking for vintage plate(s) for my car.  Not sure if New York required a plate for the front and the rear or just the rear in 1965.  Does someone have the answer? Also if you have plates for sale let me know.  Thanks Dave :help:
