Build date is 08C...Built 3rd week of August, 1965 in the Baltimore plant....
Body number is #3072.
Anybody have anything built later???

My convertible is a Balt. car also.
I'm number 2672
Have you listed your car with the 65 registry yet. John would be able to tell you if your car is the latest recorded Balt. car that he'd have records of.

Hey guys ,glad to be among other 65 owners,I also wander more about what my cars sequence number is. Can you tell that by the body tag ? I know it was a 3rd week of January 65 built car from the Flint plant and sold in Lansing MI.

Jarod, I just put a pic in the gallery of the 1965 plate decoder.
Take a closer look at the delivery date on your top plate...is it 8-25-5?
That's rather late for a January built car. What is the date code on your cowl plate?
Looks like your sequence number is 96025 ? I don't have much to compare that to, maybe Chris does.

BUMP!!!
Any more info out there??
I do have the 1965 Daily Car Reports for 1965 (thanks Mark!) They show the total number of cars built with a particular option. The DCR was issued on Sept 2, 1965, so I'd say 1965 production had ceased by that date. With my build date in the 3rd week of August, that puts my '65 in the last 3 weeks of 1965 production (at the most).
Does a later-built 65 GS exist???

Do you have the daily car report for the 2 nd week of feb. 65? That is the week my GS was built. It is a Flint car.

Al, as far as I know, the Daily Car Reports were only issued at the end of the model year, and cover the whole model years production. ....why they called them DAILY reports, I don't know! :dontknow:
