Joe,

I'm the caretaker now for the 65 GS registry.  I have all the information and will be converting it over into a database this winter.

I'll make these numbers known in a future section of the website.  I hope to share color, option and production date information while protecting serial number and owner information.

More to come...    ;D

The Database structure is being built and then It'll be a matter of entering in all of the "paper data" that I have.

After that is done, I'll need to print out a mailer and send it out to all those listed with the registry to try and figure out just how many of the registry entries are still active.

I'm trying to figure out how to create a random code that those recieving the mailers could enter into the site that would verify they were still active.  I'd give them the option of mailing back the card also for those without computers.  This is important as I'm sure a lot of cars registered years ago and now gone forever.

It's really a lot to think about from a process and structure point of view and anything I build I want to make sure it's solid enough to transistion onto the next registry keeper.

I hope to have something up and running in 3 - 6 months.

Chris

Chris would it be worth while to try to include the limited info we could get from cars that we see online?
For example, if a car shows up on Craigslist or eBay we could at least get color and location info. A follow up could discover more info such as owners name, the cars VIN, data plate, and possibly some history on the car.

I still need to get you some info on my car!
I even have some old info that was in the car when I bought it....a few pages from the 80's-90's with 65 GS registry info. I need to buy a scanner so I can get you this stuff!
