Title: Alternator brace color?

What color should the alternator brace (the big, lower one, silver in this photo of my engine) be?

Pete,

 You are referring to the aluminum mounting bracket?
It is  a raw aluminum finish, no color.

Find a can of VHT Satin Clear and spray on it after you have it all cleaned up.  Will keep it looking nice for the long haul.

Aluminum it is, many thanks. I hope to have this thing cranked up and running for the first time by Monday at the latest.
